Gabriel the Robocall Blocker™ Data Deletion

In the following policy, Gabriel refers to the service offered by Forward Edge AI, Inc. (the “Company” or “We”) through the downloadable App. This Data Deletion Policy explains (i) what information we collect through your access and use of our Service (ii) the use we make of such information; and (iii) the security level we provide for protecting such information.

By using the Gabriel app and using the Services provided here, you agree to the terms outlined in this privacy policy.

Data related to the opening of an account

Gabriel uses anonymous device level authentication to open an account.  As such, your private information is not required to download Gabriel or establish an account. Users may opt-in for automatic registration to the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) national Do Not Call Registry (DNC); and automatic compliant filing services provided by Gabriel.

Data required by the FTC’s DNC registry or to file a complaint is stored on your phone and is not persisted in our servers.  If users do not wish to participate in automated registration or complaint filing may simply leave those fields in settings blank.

Data Collection

Our company’s overriding policy is to collect as little user information as possible to ensure a completely private and anonymous user experience when using the Service. We also have no technical means to associate your name, email address or phone number with your account.  To contact us, please visit https://intercom.help/gabriel-7d89dea10eb6/en/

The Gabriel App does install a unique 16 digit Microsoft Azure PlayFab identification number on your device to help us troubleshoot bugs and issue scam alerts to our users.  Your PlayFab Identification number can be found through the Device Metadata menu by tapping the gear icon.

Your PlayFab ID is kept permanently to authenticate your device and account even if you delete or uninstall the app.  The PlayFab ID is used to confirm that your device is authorized to access our services.  If you purchase a new device, a new PlayFab ID will be issued that is unique to the new device.

Payment Information: The Company relies on the Apple App Store, Google Playstore, Samsung Galaxy, and other app stores to process payments.

Native Applications: When you use our native applications, we may use mobile analytics software (such as Segments and crash reporting, Play Store app statistics, App Store app statistics, or self-hosted Sentry crash reporting) to send crash information to our developers so that we can fix bugs rapidly. Some platforms (such as the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store) may also collect aggregate, anonymous statistics like which type of devices and operating systems that are most commonly used, the total number of installs, total number of uninstalls, and the total number of active users, and may be governed by the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. None of the software on our apps will ever access or track any location-based information from your device at any time. Any account information acquired during this process is anonymized through the PlayFab ID.

Data Use

Any data that we do have will never be shared except under the circumstances described below in the Data Disclosure Section.

Data Storage

All servers used in connection with the provisioning of the Service are located in the United States and wholly owned and operated by Microsoft Corporation. Only employees of Forward Edge AI and Microsoft have physical or other access to the servers. Data is ALWAYS stored in encrypted format on our servers. Offline backups may be stored periodically, but these are also encrypted.

Right to Access, Rectification, Erasure, Portability, and right to lodge a complaint

The company does not centrally store or share your personal data, except that Gabriel uses a unique 16 digit Microsoft PlayFab Azure identification to authenticate your device.

If your account has been suspended for any reason or you wish to discontinue our service, you delete any data stored by the app on your device by simply uninstalling Gabriel.

In feel that there has been a violation of your rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the competent supervisory authority.

Data Retention

When Gabriel is uninstalled from your device, data stored on your phone is immediately deleted. We do not store your information on our production servers. PlayFab identification numbers, however, are retained indefinitely on our servers.

Data Disclosure

We will only disclose the limited user data necessary to register your phone in the national Do Not Call registry or file a complaint if you opt in for that service.  However, this information is not persisted on our servers. The information needed to complete these tasks are stored on your device and not on our servers.

We do not store private information about you on our production servers and if we are instructed to disclose any information from a competent legal authority (legal obligation), the only information that is available is your PlayFab identification. Users who opt in for automated FTC DNC registration should visit https://www.donotcall.gov/ for any questions about their registration or complaints filed on their behalf.

Modifications to Privacy Policy

Gabriel reserves the right to periodically review and change this policy from time to time and we will notify users who have enabled the notification preference about changes to our Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Service will be deemed as acceptance of such changes.

We periodically update our privacy policy. If we change the way we use or disclose information that identifies you in a way that is materially different from what was stated in our privacy policy at the time the information was collected, you will be given an opportunity to update your choices about the new use or disclosure. Please contact us at  https://intercom.help/gabriel-7d89dea10eb6/en/ if you have any questions about our Privacy Policy.
